Hollywood Glamour and sophistication were the words for the day at this sexy fashion shoot with the extrodinary celbrity photographer Andy Liguz. Sage stole the show with her beauty and eloguent dancer's body while Ezel added the humor and pin straight hair. Life Knyper was on hand to ensure Sage was flawless and sparkling. BTP brought the creative master Max Smith to help ensure our Rita Hayworth inspirtation was being carried out in true style.
BTP was thrilled to work with photographer Kurt Gardner for the Babies R Us shoot. Not even Mother Nature herself could keep our babies from strutting their stuff or throwing their tantrums. Our infants were the happiest little critters we had ever met. The toddlers were a playful group who had our crew in stitches with all their antics! Everyone loved wrangler Allison Davies and all the wonderful puppets she brought in her magic bag. There was not one pixie stick or wooden spoon to be seen on our set. Bravo to all the little love bugs that worked with BTP this week, you are all stars! (Hair and make up: Alejandra Nerizagal for Timothy Priano, Wardrobe styling: Janine Maggiore for Ennis Inc.)
London's calling...sorry BTP has already landed in Milan for the Spring 2011 collections. Now that’s amore.
Gucci
Gucci opened up Fashion week in Milan by showing an equestrian style with vivid colors and tribal inspired beading.Leather riding jackets and suede jodhpurs were embellished with tassels, intricate latticework, chains, rings and metal studs.
Harem trousers, and short pencil skirts in emerald and fuchsia were paired with blazers in bright orange, and lapis -blue. Snakeskin belts and handbags and golden stilettos set the tone for the accessories.
Luxury was the key of the show exemplified with the “Bird of Paradise” micro-dresses which were hand-embroidered in feathers, crystals, beads and silk tassels. Once again we are seeing optimism as the high- end customer is more than ready to purchase big ticket items.
BTP has always loved Matthew Williamson’s metallic mini-dresses and we have always admired those gorgeous colorful billowy gowns, which were present and accounted for at his Spring 2011 show. But, he also added fabulous separates this time around and we mean FABULOUS! There was fringe, macrame d bustier tops and dresses, corset-topped dresses and wide flowy trousers. Williamson showed gowns and cobalt blue, bright yellow and teal which were unbelievably feminine. Presto change, you can still rock at the all night party, go to the ball and now look ridiculously amazing at work. Bravo Matthew Williamson, Bravo!
Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Although Westwood shows her main line in Paris, her Spring 2011 collection in London was full of all the fun you can expect from the eco-friendly designer. The show opened with a girls-in-boys motif that included blazers, pencil skirts, perfect tailoring and oversized oxfords. As the show progressed Westwood’s feminine side came out showing up as pink gingham off the shoulder dress with a ruffled neckline. Leopard prints were visible in a few pieces as well as tweed skirts reminiscent of a Chanel suit. BTP loved the evening dress that had Westwood’s signature blend of structure and drapery. We also loved the series of corseted jacquard frocks!
Although this designer is best known for tees reading “Do Me In The Parc Marc” House of Holland’s spring collection was slightly more grown up this time around. Opening with a little gold knife pleated skirt and blazer in oversized tropical print, BTP found this new spring line actually quite functional and more addaptable to the working world. But don’t fret all you tongue in cheeck lovers, colored fringe was almost everywhere and the metallic star print should make everyone happy, not to mention the gold dresses which coluld light the way the next time you find yourself in a black out!
Always something for everyone, TopShop Unique did not leave BTP wanting for anything after viewing their spring 2011 collection. The show went from blue jumpsuits with billowing smoke prints to unicorn prints to tie dye dresses that were amazing. We loved the clean white mini frocks and the fringe handbags will be blowing off the shelves. The over the top styling was at times exhausting but that only ensures the girls will be lining up to snap every item off the floor as soon as it hits!
Not even a tornado could keep Best Treatment Productions away from the spring 2011 collections. Below is our summary of the shows we were lucky enough to get a sneak peak at. Get ready to rumble, these new spring looks are ready to run!

Giovanna Randall's Premiere Collection, HONOR was a mix of gorgeous flowing gowns, sheer shorts and meticulous tailored pant suits. The presentation itself divided into three scenes, The Bedroom, The Party, and The Golf Game was an extraordinary exhibit of the fabrics and how easily these clothes move. BTP loved the sheer flow of the blouses and the pant suits were reminiscent of Bianca Jagger circa 1969 only more breath-taking. The hair by Ramie Roth represented by Vue was a glamorous ode to 50's Hollywood. All the models were impeccable down to their immaculate manicures by TracyLee Percival using the exclusive StrangeBeautiful library of color line by Pulp Lab.

New York's FASHION’S NIGHT OUT was full of shopping, celebrities, freebies, music, manicures, blow outs, cocktails and of course the all important free yummies.
The Lower East Side was buzzing with crowds of hipsters and neon clad sneaker heads running after Kanye West and Pharrell. The Prada store in Soho had to literally lock it's door to keep out the hordes of people determined to score the free limited edition lipstick tote. Serena Williams and Vogue's Andre Leon Tally were trapped inside until the crowd outside could be controlled. Bleeker street was alive with free t-shirts, cupcakes and the Teen Vogue street party. As we say at BTP a little sugar and cocktails go politely well together so we chomped down on several cupcakes from Magnolia cafe and quenched our thirst with a few glasses of sangria.
Halle Berry was toasting Rag and Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright at their Mercer Street shop while Scarlett Johansson was feting at the new Moncler Flagship store. The Meatpacking District was on fire with free make overs by Maybelline, refresments supplied by Arizona Rescue Water and lots of dancing in the streets! The usually quiet Bond street had fire eaters, jugglers, and temporary tatoos from hipster ink man Scott Campbell. Sushi was supplied by Bond Street Sushi while Il Buco had wine tastings and games set up to win prizes. Free manicures, were supplied by TracyLee Percival (pictured above) and blow outs (above) by Marco Guglielmino on Broadway and feathers were applied to hair (below) by Amalia Moscoso.
The night wound down at Don Hills with Iggy Pop performing for Pop Magazine. Best Treatment Productions shopped, danced and had a complete FASHION’S NIGHT OUT bonanza. Four words to sum up the events: Let’s Do It Again!
Best Treatment Productions loves the movement found in the fashion images of Curtis Eberhardt's work. His photography makes BTP feel like dancing in the streets, even on a hot humid summer day in this big big city. His photographs have an iconic quality to them as if they were stills from a classic film noir. We find ourselves being swept up in the dramatic lighting and quirky cropping techniques, which Curtis uses so eloquently. Movement, beauty, drama and power all in one photographer. Bravo Curtis, keep doing what you are doing! http://www.curtiseberhardt.com/
